Laminated grips are usually made from a combination of the following materials: Wood: The basic structure of laminated grips, wood provides durability and an aesthetically pleasing appearance. It is usually cut and moulded into thin laminates. Fibreglass: Layers of fibreglass are added to the grip for added durability. Fibreglass is an impact and moisture resistant material. Epoxy resin: Epoxy resin is added between the layers of laminated grips to ensure the materials bond tightly together. It also increases the durability of the grip.
